01 The longer version

A full-stack engineer with a backend focus.

I'm a fullstack engineer based in Kathmandu, Nepal. I started out building full-stack applications with the MERN stack and gradually found myself becoming more interested in backend systems and infrastructure.

Today, I spend most of my time working on APIs, microservices, automations, and AI-powered products. My day-to-day work involves technologies like gRPC, RabbitMQ, PocketBase, Docker, and self-hosted infrastructure.

Outside of work, I enjoy exploring new tools and building things for fun. Over the years I've worked on building web applications, Shopify themes, Flutter apps, scraping pipelines, GitHub automations, and various self-hosted services. This website is partly a portfolio and partly a place to document what I'm learning.

Keep things simple

I prefer straightforward solutions over clever ones. Simple systems are easier to understand, maintain, and debug.

Understand the whole system

I enjoy working across the stack, from interfaces and APIs to infrastructure and deployment.

Build for maintainability

Good logs, clear names, and reliable tooling matter just as much as features. Software should be pleasant to operate and easy to change.
